Chevening scholarship in Cambodia is run by the British Embassy Phnom Penh funded by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and administered by the British Council are prestigious awards which enable overseas students to study in the United Kingdom.

You are welcome to apply for Chevening Scholarships 2007-08 courses that relate to the following subjects:
Prevention of drug trafficking, including psychiatric counselling of drug users
Good Governance, in particular countering fraud and corruption
Climate Change and Environmental Security
Applicants must:
Be Cambodian nationals, 25-35 years old, preferably with a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject area.
Have a minimum of 3 years work experience in the public or private sectors.
Be proficient in written and spoken English (minimum IELTS score of 5.5).
Have a strong commitment to return to work in Cambodia.
Applicants are required to submit the following documents:
A completed application form and a recent passport-sized photograph.
Certified copies of certificates and diplomas, in English.
Academic record.
Curriculum Vitae.
Two letters of recommendation.
Candidates may be required to undertake English language training in the UK for up to 12 weeks. Candidates are requested to declare if they have any close family member(s) in a senior position in the nominating ministry or in any other department of government.
